A Life To Love

I was invited to a party last week. It was the usual awesome party, with great food, great entertainment and the life of the party : a great crowd. As I made my way toward the bar to grab myself a drink, I could not help but notice a small crowd gathering about 5 metres away from me. It could’ve been a discussion about a great investment opportunity, or a hot woman in need of CPR… whatever it was, I HAD to be there.

My apologies to all Captain Planet fans for shamelessly using that catchy slogan. I must say, forums rock. They provide a big insight into the issues faced by the average Singaporean male when it comes to dating and this really gives me an avenue to help people out to express my thoughts.

When I am coaching clients, before I even jump into my lessons, I do something we call the Self-Assessment Exercise. Expressing yourself is an important part of an interaction and relationship and to be good at that, you have to know yourself. From who you want to be to who you are right now.

On a more personal note, I have fallen victim to the incredibly delicious pineapple tarts during this festive season. To give you an idea of how serious things are, I have gained 1 kilogram. Let my mis-fortune be a lesson to you to eat in moderation.
